Delta Studios opened their Young Artists Exhibition entitled ‘Fractured’ on Friday 12th June. It was a great night with around 80 young people aged between 5 and 18 years exhibiting work and hundreds of visitors attending to see their wonderful creations. The younger classes produced work on a variety of subjects while the older students created one piece each on the subject of unconventional gas and oil extraction. As usual the young people outdid themselves putting on a fabulous, colourful, creative and though provoking exhibition.
Here are some of the photos from the opening night...

There will be paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture and mixed media works on display. Please come along for a look, the exhibition starts on Saturday 21st February and runs until the 27th March. The classes are working hard to put the finishing touches on their work and it's going to be great, hope to see you there!
The opening night at Emerge was fantastic! Thank you to everyone who came along to see the exhibition, I think you will agree that it was one of the most creative and vibrant exhibitions we've ever had! The students all ages 12-18 years worked so hard to get all their work ready and they did a great job! This is the first time the portfolio classes have had an exhibition of their own and after having such a successful exhibition it won't be their last!! Look out for news about our next adult exhibition which will be coming in the new year!
Our portfolio classes have been growing in size over the past few years, so much so, that we had to start a new class this year. So for the first time ever, the portfolio classes will have their own exhibition!!! We are so excited about this one!!! There will be over 45 students showcasing class work, personal work and a project about their response to the many conflicts that are going on in the world today. Our students create work with all sorts of materials and have created two very special installations for this exhibition...it's going to be great!!
The exhibition will open on Friday 24th October at 7pm! We hope that you will join us at the opening or you can come along for a visit during the day, the exhibition is open Monday - Saturday 11am - 3pm.
Hope to see you soon!
